Is sickness and gas a normal 40 week symptom?

So I'm 40+1 and this afternoon have been really gassy, my tummy has been making funny gurgling noises, and I've just been sick everywhere....despite not feeling particularly nauseous.

Anyone know if this is normal at 40 weeks? Because I dont know if its hormones or an upset tummy 🙈

Could be a sign of labour... even if it isn’t, it’s bound to happen soon when you’re 40 weeks now. Lol
I believe some people have a clear out just before labour begins...!
My sickness came back about 40 weeks, I was gassy too and had an upset stomach, I had my baby at 41 weeks.
Make sure you keep up your fluids, eat what you feel like, the finish line is in sight! Good luck x

Keep an eye, it's likely to be prelabour but if you've got any swelling, headache, funny eyes, feeling odd call your midwife.

40+4 here... I projectile vomited my breakfast everywhere yesterday and have been gassy for days.
Hoping this is the beginning of the end for sure...

Thanks everyone. I've actually woken up feeling just as rubbish as I did when I went to bed. Just eaten a banana and I can feel that trying to come back up 😭
Not feeling at all ready for labour, but I think I'm ready to get baby out now!
