Different kind of period

I usually have spotting 3-5 days before my period this month it was 1 day spotting but only when I wiped then Thursday night my period started sorry if it’s too much info but I usually get stringy blood but it was dark red brown and I had bad period pain that night I never get that. Friday there wasn’t enough to fill a pad and the same dark colour but wasn’t just spotting. Saturday again just a spot. Sunday there was a light pink dot am and now nothing. Just wondering if anyone had what they thought was a period and got a bfp and on hindsight the period they thought they had was a bit different. I’ve had a migraine since it started on Thursday too.

Yes. I had this. I thought it was just a weird period. So I never bothered testing then I started getting symptoms a few weeks later I was so tiered and sick. So I tested and it was positive

Thanks for replying, I probably should just test to find out I’m scared of the disappointment though this is 13 months TTC and never got to the point of having to test.

I had quite a lot of brown spotting and thought it was my period, so I had some wine! When it never progressed I thought I’d better do a test and I was pregnant!! With pink dye it was very faint, but now I get a strong line (6+6)

I do get brown spotting usually this did turn into what I thought was a period it maybe wasn’t as heavy and was shorter but definitely wasn’t just my usual spotting, it was just yesterday when I got the dot of light pink I thought hmm that’s strange. I have a terrible migraine just now so haven’t been able to get out for a test will get one tonight
