Aspirin in early pregnancy

Hi ladies.
Ok need some honest advice, I'm 9 weeks tomorrow (7 weeks gestational if that makes any difference)
Had my booking in appointment on Friday and she put me on a higher dose of folic acid and 75mg of aspirin due to my age and possibly weight?!
Anyway, I took the aspirin yesterday and exactly 22 hrs later, I start bleeding red blood.
I have no pain, no clots but a fair amount of blood that is mixed with mucus.
I've been trying to wipe it out, obviously have now made myself sore down there but it just won't stop.
It's not enough to even get onto a pad, just lots and lots when I wipe.
Could this be down to taking the aspirin?!
I have a scan on Tuesday, but I thought I may ask if anyone has had a similar experience.
Many thanks x

I took it from 7w due to previous pre eclampsia but didn’t have any bleeding. However if you do bleed for any reason the blood thinning action makes you bleed more (I knocked a Tiny scab off my chin and it was dripping into my hand While I was on it). Hope all is well for you on Tuesday x

Think I'm not going to take it until I ask at the hospital, just worried about anything happening.
Thank u too, I'm hoping all will be ok x

Can you call them? I doubt the blood is connected to taking aspirin. I took it from 16 weeks. Had no bleeding whilst on it but did have some light bleeding at around 6 weeks. Get some advice from the MW or GP.

I've started bleeding heavily today with cramps, I'm kinda fearing this maybe game over

I’ve had previous pre eclampsia and been told to start aspirin in this pregnancy but only to start from 12 weeks

If this is a miscarriage OP then it wouldn't be connected to the asprin, not that quickly and not one dose...so sorry you're going through this hopefully the early pregnancy unit can see you and give you some answers
