Been feeling itch searched up it could be ICP now I'm scared !!

Hey ladies Im 23weeks and I've started to feel a bit itchy all over really not extreme I then searched it up on google then cane across a thing called ICP which has now worried me Monday morning I will be contacting my GP/midwife but can any of you mums to be pls put my mind at ease 😭x

I had itching in my last pregnancy, legs stomach especially. I was concerned about icp then thought it was pupp. Doctor decided it was probably some sort of viral rash and itch. I itched for a few more weeks really badly then it all went away until after she was born. Then I itched again for a week or so. All very odd.

It may just be a normal itch with stretching but I had this in my pregnancy, my palms and feet were itchy and I did what you did and googled and frightened the life out of myself. I was tested and once confirmed was monitored very closely and had to take medication for the liver. From week 34 I had trace twice a week. I was due to be induced at 37 weeks but went into labour at 36.5 naturally. My baby was born perfectly healthy and 6.7lbs. He’s a strapping 4 year old now. It’s likely I will have it again if pregnant again. Best of luck
