What does it feel like if baby goes from head down to breech?

Slightly freaking out, I'm seeing my midwife in 3 days anyway but until then, has anyones baby who has previously been head down turned breech at the last minute? Last night I was in excruciating pain for a few minutes of lots off pulling and stretching in abdomen and lots of cervix pressure pain, could this have been baby turning?? I feel like I can feel something that could be a head at the top and more kicks at the bottom... But again could be paranoid and imagining it. Has this happened to anyone? Can this even happen?? I'm due in 2 days...

It can happen and the midwifes can't always tell. My first baby was undiagnosed breech. Although I didn't know it had moved and didn't feel anything. Don't worry the baby can be born either way, sometimes they prefer to c-section a breech baby though as I think there are slightly fewer risks than with a vaginal birth.

I woke up one morning & my bump had completely changed shape. I remember turning to my husband and saying “he’s breech again” (DS kept flipping over). I didn’t feel anything so probably happened when I was asleep & muscles more relaxed.

Had a midwife appointment the next day who confirmed it. He eventually turned back at 36 week
