I've just had a takeaway from our local man v food restaurant , I ordered a veggie burger which consists of 2 Linda McCartney burgers with lettuce etc

First bite , I said to my partner it tasted rubbery but dismissed it as I've not had one of these burgers in a long time so ate the bun etc
I tried another mouthful of this burger , & again said it tasted off.

Upon closer inspection , it's quite cold in the middle & the patty is pale pink
The restaurant offered to send another one - which I declined straight away
These burgers obviously shouldn't be like that

I'm 18 weeks pregnant & im now worried about eating undercooked food
I know if it were meat , I would definitely be worried but what about vegetarian food ?

Probably just me panicking for no reason 🤷🏼‍♀️

it's a veggie burger, not meat. You will be fine!

You will be absolutely fine. And you aren't panicking for no reason, you are pregnant and brains do odd things during pregnancy.

You might laugh about this in a year's time.

Yes, but it's so easy to do, so go easy on yourself!

I remember panicking about eating a slightly wilted salad leaf because it could have been mouldy. I've never seen a mouldy salad leaf in my life. Grin

No I wouldn’t be worried at all.

More concerning is why a restaurant is serving frozen Linda McCartney burgers!
