Why wouldn't it be?

violetclouds · 16/09/2020 17:45

There is more alcohol in a ripe banana or you would need 47 double clean gins to equate 1 pint of beer 😄

Stargazer87 · 16/09/2020 18:19

No reason why it wouldn't be, there's probably more alcohol in a slice of bread!

avidteadrinker · 16/09/2020 18:29

Yes, but it tastes nothing like gin and is god damn awful!!

Stargazer87 · 16/09/2020 18:33

I agree, neither taste that great...I love gin and have tried so many for a good alternative, this is the best I've found so far;

Although you can still blatantly tell the difference! 🙈

Yes, though elderflower cordial and tonic makes a delicious and much cheaper non-alcoholic G&T substitute.

Seedlip is unbelievably expensive for distilled water. I liked a few drops of angostura bitters in tonic, or a small measure of Aperol with tonic.

twilightcafe · 16/09/2020 20:24

Seedlip is an outrageous price for what is basically cordial. And it tastes musty.

I really like the Brooklyn no alcohol beer, give that a try. It’s sold in Waitrose

Butternutsqoosh · 16/09/2020 20:39

See flip is grim ... it's basically water, lemon and herbs, no idea what would possess people to spend that sort of money on non alcohol! Doesn't taste like gin!

Butternutsqoosh · 16/09/2020 20:39

🙄🙈 seedlip ha!

Margo34 · 16/09/2020 20:52

I had 3 mini bottles of Seedlip in a gift set and it hasn't caused me any damage, pretty much 39 weeks along now. When you stop thinking of it as gin and get over that it's nothibf like gin, it tastes OK but still not great.
Tbh I just switched to a selection of flavoured sparkling water, served in a copa glass with ice and a slice for the most part! Or tonic water and a splash of cordial.
Wouldn't bother with non-alc gin if there's a next time I get pregnant!
