Hi All, hoping someone can help calm me.
On Sunday morning I felt very nauseous and came over all sweaty and faint but was not sick. I then had the worst pain in my right groin and hand cramped up.
This lasted about half an hour but since then I have been fine and no bleeding.
I have an early scan booked this Thursday but after suffering a missed miscarriage a couple of years ago and this being our third attempt on IVF I am not feeling very positive about the scan.
Has anyone ever experienced this?

I've had this, I'm currently waiting for a call back from the early pregnancy assessment unit to be triaged. I called the midwife and she contacted them for me, she also suggested contacting the GP as it could be a UTI or A&E if it happened again. I found heat helped ease it (not fun when you're already feeling hot and sweaty but it did work). How many weeks are you?

PlanBea I'm currently just over 5 weeks but have felt fine since Sunday, just in panic mode

I felt similar early on, also IVF pregnancy. As long as it's period pain that's not worse than your period it should be fine. Shooting pain can be stretching uterus. Good luck and sending you lots of positive vibes!

The nurse just gave me a call and spoke through it with me and said it sounds just like the uterus expanding. If it continues on to call the GP to test for UTI, or call them back. I'd suggest perhaps calling your GP and see if they have any advice?

thanks, I already spoke to my clinic Monday and they have booked me in for a scan this Thursday, hopefully it will be good news

Best of luck with the scan. From what the nurse was saying in my case it's nothing to worry about so I hope yours is the same!

Thank you,
