I also have an anterior placenta so I don't feel him moving right now so I wouldn't even know if he's okay or not😓

You’ll be fine. I have a mad 3yo who treats me as a climbing frame. I’m 22 weeks and regularly get booted, clambered over etc. These babies are well insulated! If you’re worried call the MW but I wouldn’t lose sleep over it.

zooloo88 · 14/09/2020 21:35

I feel your pain!! I had a dog ( granted he was a smaller breed) jump onto my bump with some force at 27
Weeks when I was at friends and I panicked the whole night then I felt no movement at all until the next day after I rang the midwife, she really put my mind at ease telling me how the baby is very protected in there! If you are worried give the midwife a call even just for peace of mind Smile

I was always knocking my bump into things by accident with DS1 and he was fine, try not to panic, they are very cushioned in there😘 x

RMarieClaire · 14/09/2020 22:07

Baby is so so well cushioned try not to worry. And if you can't stop, call your midwife team. When I was about your point with DD1 I accidentally drank water that had cat wormer in (don't ask!). I was so so worried and they were great (and obviously thought but didn't say I was insane)

Sunshineandsparkle · 14/09/2020 22:17

Try not to panic. There is a lot of padding for the baby. Maybe speak to your midwife if you’re worried. My toddler was always climbing all over me when pregnant and the baby was fine.

Bl0ndi3 · 14/09/2020 23:16

I have no experience to draw on but I read or heard something somewhere that if you imagine you're an egg... lol bare with me.... and your baby is the yolk, if you shake an egg, the yolk stays perfectly in tact because it's so well protected. Well it was something like that haha hopefully you know what I mean!

Anyway, Try not to worry ❤️

I slipped on a step when I was pregnant and fell down a few steps. My bump ended up in straight edge of the step. I panicked as couldn’t feel the baby move. I ended up having a scan to reassure myself that everything was ok. It was!

Helenknowsbest · 15/09/2020 11:02

Babies are so protected in there. I think at 6 months pregnant I fell over my trouser bottom and face planted the floor outside and my bump smacked the curb with real force. All was OK. Although I was battered and bruised ha

Viletta · 15/09/2020 12:49

My dog jumped on my belly and I also walked into door handles a couple of times, had a little bruise as well. Check with the midwife if you're worried

AlwaysBelieve19 · 17/09/2020 12:39

Thank you guys for your response I did call my midwife and I went in for a check and everything is fine baby is still happy in there 💙💙💙
