How to whiten baby clothes?

I've been given a bundle of second hand baby clothes by my SIL including vests, rompers, baby grows, bodysuits etc. A lot of the white clothes are a little grey after being used for her two. I'm going to wash everything, but was wondering if there's anything I can do to make them whiter? Can you use Vanish or Milton Sterilising Fluid to whiten them?

Ecover laundry bleach, you just add it to your normal detergent on a wash. Or Bio D does a nappy bleach which is for whitening and stain removal

Soak overnight in a bucket of warm water with 4 sterilising tablets, or the equivalent liquid. This is fine for colours too

I've not tried it but have read that Milton works well on whites.
