I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant with 3rd baby, my first two were both inductions due to IUGR so I don't have much experience of going into labour naturally.

I've had cramps and contractions (probably BH) for the past couple of weeks but things have got worse in the last few days.. constant pains now and the feeling you get when you have a tummy bug. Loose bowels and going to the loo literally 6 or 7 times a day!! Also feeling really tired but that could be from having 2 toddlers and little sleep.

I've also lost a bit of mucus and my mood swings have drastically changed (unfortunate for hubby and the kids) I'm soo emotional, anything and everything is peeing me right off!

Shoukd also say I'm convinced I'm further along than they've guessed.. my due date was put back by 9 days after my 20 week scan, but I have small babies so my thinking is surely the baby could have just been on the smaller side too?

Anyone had any similar experiences and gone into labour? Or is it all wishful thinking?!

I'm 36 weeks with 4th baby, measuring small.
I've been feeling the same as you, crampy with bits of mucus plug and clear outs. The midwife yesterday said it seemed like I could have him before my induction date (38 weeks) because of the cramping and pressure.
She just advised if the pain gets any worse and not manageable with painkillers then to come back in. I personally feel baby won't stay put for another 2 weeks so I'm keeping a good eye out x

MrsK, how exciting!! I wasn't sure if my tummy feelings and cramps are actually the start of something or just a tummy bug but I'm soo ready to have this baby now so I'm willing it to be labour!

Fingers crossed your baby comes before your induction date, were your previous babies small too?

Ahh I hope so for you too! Triage did 1st off advise it could be a stomach bug, but few days later the cramps are more period like pain and I keep getting wierd pressure pain down below, so they think it could be the start of things.
Previous babies were small, under the 15th centile, but this baby I'm around 3rd centile. They keep sending me for growth scans but he's kind of following the line so they are not too worried!
How many weeks did you get to before they induced you previously? The earliest I've given birth was 37+5 and I was induced then as I was bleeding slightly x
