40+3 first time, bloody show & leaking?

Hey ladies, looking for a little bit of advice please!
I’m 40+3 with my first, and for the past 3 days I have been experiencing my bloody show. Symptoms that have followed have been backache, period like cramping, going to the toilet regularly. Firstly how long after experiencing this did you go into labour?

Also I’ve noticed that I have the occasional leaking feeling as if I’m leaking fluid. This is no more than a teaspoon in size but it’s a little more watery & is bloody. It’s only happened a handful of times over the past couple of days. Do you think I’m just leaking urine along with my show? I’m not completely soaking the towel or anything.

Thanks ladies!

I think you should pop a pad on and ring the delivery suite, they can advise on if you need to go in and be assessed 🙂

Definitely pop a pad on and ring maternity

I'd give your MAU a call. It sounds like you're in labour so best to get checked out and see where you're at. Especially that there is blood, all be it only a small amount from what you have said. Good luck! 💐💐

Thank you guys!

According to maternity unit definitely sounds like labour, started getting contractions around 5pm tonight they are 5-10 minutes apart. So exciting. I’ve to call back soon about going in! X
