Transverse baby-rib pain! What can I do?

Hello all!

So as title says, baby is laying transverse at 28+4, (had my 28th week growth scan a few days ago) I'm not worried as I know there's plenty time for him to turn, but the rib pain is horrendous Confused his head seems to be wedged right into my rib cage on the left, and feet tucked under the right side. I've suffered with costochondritis for a few years now, well before pregnancy, and this coupled with me working in a psychically demanding job is really taking its toll! Can't sit down comfortably and trying to find a comfortable position to sleep is becoming a chore.

Sorry for the absolute moan, just wondered if anyone has any tips? I don't live in the UK and we don't have midwife led care here, so don't really have a point of communication or anyone to ask until I can get to my doctor (which is another story Blush)

Go on all fours, then lower your chest/head to the floor. I used a pillow underneath to help. Stay like that for a while and baby hopefully baby will shift for you. It's not a graceful position 😂 but it usually works

Thank you! Will certainly give anything a try to get his head out of there Grin
