Ew ew ew ew.....
So had a c section 2.5 weeks ago and have noticed a hard lump above my incision line. Midwife felt it and told me to call gp. Next day it got bigger and so i called a gp who said it was most likely scar tissue or a hematoma which will eventually go away.... BUT IT FEELS SO GOD DAMN HARD! ITS HONESTLY AS IF THE SURGEON POPPED A GOLFBALL IN THERE AFTER TAKING BABY OUT!

Weird weird weird. I hate it. It feels so gross.

Its not like i DONT BELIEVE my gp, but it was only a telephone appt. And i didnt think scar tissue or a hematoma could feel so solid!
Has anyone elses hematoma or scar tissue felt just as hard? Any ideas or stories?

Have you seen a midwife/community nurse at home since your operation? It sounds as though you may have something like a hernia perhaps?

I had this, about ten days after birth, due to messing up the injections. Felt tennis ball sized! And very tender. It was a haematoma. Honestly, it went down really quickly. If it is a haematoma, it should reduce in size quite quickly - probably worth reverting to your GP or midwife if you see no change in a week or so.
