How many of you had faint lines and had a successful pregnancy?

I tested today 11DPO and super faint line. I took one a few hours later and it was darker but still really faint.

I'm looking for reassurance that faint lines don't always mean bad news. I had a miscarriage in June and had faint lines.

My first test was super faint, as was my second test. Third was a digital and I'm now 37 weeks pregnant.
Wishing you all the best 💐 hope

My 3rd successful pregnancy were faint lines. I wanted say before I was due and got a faint positive but then had spotting. Left it a week in case of chemical and test was darker but still faint. She’s now a robust 10 month old chasing her brother around

Thank you. Can you remember how many DPO you were?

I was 11DPO on my first test, 13DPO on my second and 15DPO on my third

bloomety · 09/09/2020 16:33

For reference. It's this faint.

This was mine at 11DPO, it got a lot darker over the next few days. 11DPO is still early for tests to show up

Thank you. That's a lot darker than mine that I did this morning and I have those same tests! I'll test again tomorrow and see if it's darker.

@bloomety my first test was lighter than yours and I was late for my period by a couple of days. I'm not sure exactly when I ovulated as it was my first cycle since a MC at 9 weeks.

It was so light DP didn't believe there was anything there and wouldn't believe I was pregnant until I did a clear blue digital that actually said the word 'pregnant' 3 days later! I'm now 29 weeks.

bloomety · 09/09/2020 18:34

Oh wow thank you @Addler that gives me hope!! Was it a FRER?

Hey @bloomety Here are my frers, I imagine if I did one at 11dpo I'd have got one like yours and I've attached my ics too. They are from 10dpo to 20dpo.. I'm 21 weeks tomorrow and had my last scan yesterday and all looking good.

Doesn't necessarily mean bad news at all OP. Test again on a FRER with your first wee of the day tomorrow or the day after and hopefully it'll be much darker

bloomety · 09/09/2020 20:44

I will do. Can't wait til the morning!

I had a faint line at 14 DPO. I'm 24 weeks pregnant now!

Addler · 09/09/2020 23:39

Yes found the pic! So faint it didn't even show up very well Grin It was definitely a squint and hold up the light sort of deal. But that squinter looked like this on my growth scan this morning! I think I just didn't have particularly high levels of HCG.

I hope it's good news for you too Thanks

Update: I did another FRER this morning. The line is definitely pinker and more solid but it's not darker. I'm hoping tomorrow to see a significant change.

Here is an update for 13dpo and 14dpo with pictures showing progression. It's got much darker. I feel a lot better. I started with brown spotting yesterday. I'm assuming it's implantation bleeding.

Looks promising op everything crossed for you! Both my dc were absolute squinters the day I should have started AF (14dpo) and had 2 healthy pregnancies and dc now. Good luck!

Addler · 12/09/2020 18:27

Looking good!
