5 wks pregnant and negative test!?

Hi all, please tell me others have been in my position and been pregnant 🤞, I missed my period this month, and had what I believe to be implantation bleeding( spotting) for about a week. I took 2 tests over 2 days in the morning a week ago before the spotting started, and there was a very faint line, the bleeding has now stopped, I decided to take a test yesterday and today in the afternoon, and negative!? If I'm actually 5 wks, it should be very positive!!! I'm also having stabbing pains in my right side near my ovary? I'm too early for a scan and blood test. If I'm not pregnant I'd love to know why I've missed my period! I'm always regular as clock work. I also have discomfort in my uterus, and my boobs feel heavy! Help a confused mama out (already have a son) xx

Are you sure the spotting wasn’t just a very light period? If you are 5 weeks pregnant and had a faint line a week ago it would be darker by now. Maybe it was an evaporation line or a chemical pregnancy?

It definitely wasn't a period, there's was hardly any blood and very light, like I had with my first pregnancy, it was also stop start! I recognised it from my first pregnancy, but admittedly it didn't last as long as this time. But my periods are always a good flow, even if they are lighter, and the colour was brown and light pink when wiping only, hardly anything on a liner (tmi) 🙈, but am wondering if it was a chemical pregnancy!? My boobs are still tender and have discomfort in my uterus like it's still there!?

Im so sorry, but this sounds like a Chemical pregnancy. Having been through 2, i know its utterly crap

If you had a negative test I would be inclined to think you aren’t pregnant.

Wait another week and try another test and then maybe wait to see if your next period starts or not

Thanks guys, appreciate your help, I will do another test in a week. Its the weirdest feeling 🤷‍♀️🙈😭🤰 x

Do you have quite regular periods? Could it be a really long period and you’re ovulating now? Uterus pain and tender boobs could mean you’re ovulating?

I am regular as clock work, every 28 days, so I haven't had a period for 5 weeks. It is looking like it could deffo be a chemical pregnancy yes, but I am still clinging on to hope till I have a scan in 2 weeks 🤞
