Spotting - horrible smell

Sorry for TMI.

I'm 13+3 with my first, and up until 11+5 had no spotting whatsoever. Now it's daily (but light). The first time I spotted, it was like a heavy period and the hospital scanned me and everything was fine. Since then, it's been light. But every day. Firstly, when would you become concerned by excessive spotting? I'm not in pain, but it's hard to know when to get concerned.

Also, this past week it's become very smelly. I'll be sitting down, feel something going on down there, and be hit by a horrible stench. I know "they" say normally discharge shouldn't be smelly, but does that go the same for spotting too?

Worried I might have an infection.

Would be grateful if you could share your spotting experiences....

Could well be an infection, you need to make an appointment with your G.P ASAP.
