Bounty banned from Worcestershire Royal Hospitals

Woke up to a spam email from Bounty describing how they have been banned from attending postnatal wards at Worcesteshire Royal Hospital.

The tone of the email of moral outrage, I found it hilarious. Although I am a little torn as I did use some of the freebies from the ward pack to save roping up nappies from the car and I was quite happy to politely tell the lady to shove off, which she did without question.

Made me chuckle, anyway. Blaming the Maternity Voices Partnership for taking a 'small number of complaints' further. Bravo to the MVP!

I actually had a surprisingly positive experience with a very respectful Bounty rep but on the whole hearing other people's stories I'd support them being banned.

Surely they shouldn't be going into any hospitals at the moment. I mean people who are dying are still being denied visits from immediate family so sales reps shouldn't be wandering around wards.

You're right, @Lexilooo, it does say in the email that this is a thing for when things get back to normal and I omitted to mention that. Essentially they are saying we aren't in at the mo (covid) and we won't be back (MVP)

I had a long labour, and was sitting exhausted with the midwife while trying to learn how to express when the bounty rep tried to come in the room.
I didn't like the invasion, it wasn't something I wanted, I felt very vulnerable.

Although I imagine they won't be around when I give birth this month it is in my birth plan that I don't want any reps coming round regardless of Covid
