Does the baby change position a lot?

I'm 23 weeks today and have felt no movement so far (I do have an anterior placenta).

Got the heart rate checked today as advised by my midwife and baby is healthy and ok, but she thinks the baby is facing towards my spine, so that along with an anterior placenta means I can't feel movement as the baby is basically kicking my back!

Did anyone else have this and did the baby eventually turn around so you could feel kicks? Or do they stay the same way round all the time?

I am obviously so relieved he is ok, but hoping that at some point I will get to feel some kicks, it's going to be a stressful 17 weeks otherwise!

I had one with my first and it eventually grew upwards as I got bigger and then I started to feel the kicks - maybe from around 26 weeks

I had this and he did turn around eventually. They are still quite small at 23 weeks so will wriggle all over the place, sometimes without you knowing.
Glad your baby is ok
