Hi.
I'm 40 and this is my 4th pregnancy, my last child was born nearly 10 years ago and I can't remember if this or that pain is normal or not.
Guess I'm just scared of something going wrong, I'm going to be 7 weeks on Monday.
Obviously this fear is not helped by my mum who is forever mentioning the fact that she had a miscarriage at 14 weeks when she was 46, so is obviously convinced the same is going to happen to me and isn't the slightest bit worried about saying it every time I speak to her.

So at the mo, I'm having pulling aches in the lower part of my stomach, every now and again I will have a bit of spotting that is usually very light pink or a bit brown.
I'm guessing this is normal, just would like to hear from u ladies that have gone on to have healthy pregnancies in ur 40's x

Hi, I'm 9 days late, so would be about 5 weeks pregnant. I've had pulls and twinges in my tummy for about 2 weeks. Some on the side, some low down. Really uncomfortable at times but niggly not painful. Not like period pains. So from what I've read, they're normal pains. I've done a test today and it's negative and I've spotted slightly. I was convinced that I was pregnant and those pains were the stretching pains that I've read about 🤷🏻‍♀️
