Love to Dream Swaddle question

Hi everyone,

I am probably thinking too much into it but FTM to be so I guess it's quite natural to second question most things.

Would love to get a few Love to Dream Swaddle ups for my little one, due at the end of Oct. Looking to buy them soon as I want to wash them ready for use.

But I don't know which TOG to get. The 2.5 TOG seems like an obvious choice for winter but it obviously depends on room temperature too. And if the heating is on intermittently throughout the night and the baby has a vest suit or a sleep suit on underneath, it is not like the baby is going to be too cold if I get a 1.0 TOG.

Should I get a 2.5 TOG or a 1.0 TOG in a newborn size? I know it does seem trivial but the thought of them being too hot or too cold worries me and they aren't cheap enough just to buy another willy nilly.

Many thanks in advance x

I'm due mid October and I've gone for 2.5 tog. From the chart you can always put less clothes underneath if your house is on the warmer side but I expect it will be fine for then as people seem to have 1 tog right now for milder weather.

I do agree it's hard to guess though when it's not that season yet!

@LexiM thank you for your advice! I think you are right ... can always put less clothes underneath if they are warm.

I shall do the same :)
