7 weeks pregnant but measuring at 5.

Hi all,

Hope you are well. After suffering a miscarriage in June I am pregnant again ❤️. However I had some pain and spotting so they took bloods earlier in the week which doubled in 48 hours then scanned me today just as a precaution. They initially done a stomach scan and said they could see a sac but no baby. So then done internal and could see baby but no heartbeat. They said I'm only measuring at 5 weeks instead of 7 and I should go back in ten days. Has anyone else had this experience? Looking for some reassurance after last time 😒 xx

Hi op sorry you're experiencing this. I'm on the same boat except I'm bleeding and my internal scan showed nothing except a collapsed sac. I've got a re scan on the 10th but I know I'm miscarrying. I hope yours is better news x

I think it can be two weeks either way and be okay, I thought I was 7 weeks but I was 5 weeks and like 6 days but they found a heartbeat so I didn't worry too much (that's a lie I worry now even at 18 weeks haha the worrying never goes away) - hope it all goes well for you OP x

Hi @Furbabymum15@New2thismumthing. Thank you both for commenting. I'm trying so so hard to not stress, be positive and remember that you don't ovulate until 12-14 days after first day of period so it's fine but as you can imagine it's easier said than done! I think of they had seen a heartbeat I'd of felt a bit better but they said it would be too early to see that. Wishing you both the best of luck ❤️
