I'm in the UK, and not familiar with the role of a Family Nurse. Here, I'd expect to meet with a midwife at some point after the pregnancy was confirmed, for a health check, and advice on diet, lifestyle choices during pregnancy, and later I'd want to discuss the birth options. They normally check your blood pressure, weight. height etc.

I'm a midwife - not all areas have FNP (family nurse practitioners) but in areas that do, they are there as extra support until the baby is 2 for younger mums and dads.

Here is a link for you to look at fnp.nhs.uk/about-us/what-is-fnp/

Additional support for mums who need and want it. Hope you get on well.
Congratulations on your pregnancy Flowers
