No period but no BFP?!

Hi everyone, im new here so not quite sure this will work?
I was expecting my period on 26th aug, its been like clockwork the last year (since ive been tracking after coming off pill since last child) but i am now 4 days late. This has never ever happened before. Ive taken a couple cheap dip stick tests the last 2 days and theyre negative but havent done first wee of the day.
In my head the only explanation is beig pregnant bit me and my OH have only had unprotected sex once, and it was 2 days before my period was due. Ive been scouring the internet and all forums for weird ovulation but regular periods and it comes up with nothing! All ive read points to jist a random late/missed period for no reason as its not normal to ovulate that late in a cycle. I have zero patience so am getting really worked up about it all, especially when i knew i was oregnant before a BFP with previous pregnancies.

Please tell me im not going crazy and some people have gotten pregnant like this??

I think it's highly unlikely you're pregnant. If you ovulated around the normal time when it would be pretty much impossible to be pregnant if you only had sex two days before your period. If you happened to ovulate very late this month then there is a chance you might be pregnant but it would be too early to test yet. The most likely reason is just a late period which can happen even to those of us with the most regular cycles. Try testing again in a few days with first morning urine, but until then try not to stress to much as that can just delay your period further.
