I'm 11dpo and have had positive tests the past three days getting stronger. I've also been nauseous for a few days and now have tender breasts.

I had an early miscarriage at 6 weeks last months and this is my first cycle since so I'm quite nervous about whether this baby will stick.

Just wanted to make a group for any other mums to be in the same situation so we can support eachother and stay calm together.

I feel postive about this one, it feels strong, I had a bad feeling about my last pregnancy from the start, it felt so delicate like anything I did would end it.

@Nottherealslimshady I am in a very similar situation to yourself. I had an early loss at exactly 6 weeks in July. I caught on straight away this month and my clear blue test on said 2-3 weeks which i wasn't expecting. So according to the nhs calcI'm 5 weeks and due 2nd may.

Like you I had a bad feeling about my last and was constantly going to the loo at every twinge. This time i am so so positive and allowing myself to get excited. I've already contacted midwifery team and booked myself in for an early reassurance scan. Also, my symptoms this time are much stronger, even been feeling nauseous for the last two days which I didn't have previously.

@Smp321 that's fantastic congratulations! I'm bouncing between excited and confident then suddenly get the feeling that my symptoms have gone and start panicking. I've also had nausea the past few days which is strangely comforting 😂

Have you spoken to the doctors yet?

@Nottherealslimshady yeah in a weird way I'm enjoying the symptoms haha! Although I keep reminding myself that they're a good thing when I'm feeling sorry for myself 😂

I have contacted the doctors yes. They gave me a number to self refer to my local hospital who then took contact details and basic details about this pregnancy. I was told that I will receive a phone call to schedule my booking appointment at around 8 weeks and will be over the phone. I just thought I'd do it straight away this time. Have you spoke to them?

I feel like I’ve written this post.

I had a mmc confirmed 20th July at 8 weeks. He had not grown Past 6 weeks. I had the surgery on the 27th, which would be 6 weeks this coming Monday.

I got shadows of a line last week, but got my first proper line at 12dpo yesterday morning.

I seem pretty relaxed tbf, but I do believe that’s my brains way of protecting myself. Pretend that nothing huge has or is happening.

I haven’t actually had a period since 26th May 😅

I wasn’t going to ring my the doctor until 6 weeks, & then book a scan for the following week.

Nottherealslimshady · 29/08/2020 18:14

@Smp321 it kinda sucks it's over the phone, but I guess they've gotta keep everyone safe, I was hoping they'd do bloods at 8 weeks. I haven't rang yet, last time the receptionist and EPU couldn't care less, told me to ring back at 6 weeks, ended up ringing 111 who sent me to A&E for the bleeding which I will forever be grateful for.
I'm gonna book a private scan for 8 weeks to see the heartbeat and put my mind at ease.

@Sansa87 so sorry you had to have surgery :( that's good you're staying calm, it's so important for baby for mum to be calm :)

@Nottherealslimshady it does yeah. Sorry to hear that as well, that is awful. I had a similar experience where they told me to wait until the bleeding stops then take a test to make sure it's negative and that was that.
My local doesn't allow +1's at the 12 week scan either, only at the 20 week scan at the moment. I've already booked a scan for 8 weeks on 20th Sept, luckily my husband can come. I'm being ultra prepared this time just hoping for the best!

@Sansa87. so sorry to hear you had to go through that. Congratulations though! That may be a blessing in disguise being able to keep calm and relaxed. Fingers crossed all works out well for us all!

Nottherealslimshady · 30/08/2020 07:29

@Smp321 it's good your husband can come, I think +1s aren't allowed at my 14 week either tbh, but that's mosh away, it could change by then. He can come to my private one though so thats fine.
I've been prepping too, what have you done, we could compare notes. I've mostly prepared for baby actually being here, planned what to buy and what midwife I want.

I'm testing twice a day and loving my progression, theres only 12ish hours between each of these!

11dpo vs today’s 14dpo

I suddenly started getting super anxious about it last night. I need to calm my shit and realise this is a completely different pregnancy and there’s a chance this one might be healthy.

Hi I am terrified I misscarried in Jan at 6 weeks I have not tested yet I was due on Tuesday last week but I am scared to test as I have been getting a lot of mild cramping almost constantly this was our first month trying again the epu saw me last time and advised I could have an early scan when I was pregnant again ! I feel like I am but scared to test positive then something go wrong again

Smp321 · 30/08/2020 19:32

@Nottherealslimshady I’ve booked an early scan for 8 weeks and made sure I’m taking folic acid and vitamin d religiously. Feels strange taking tablets daily again as it’s been so long since i was last on contraception haha!

Yeah my planning is for when baby is here. I know exactly what travel system, cot, bottles etc I want. I’ve made an online registry so I’ve got it all together. We’ve both been doing loads of reading with it being our first.

Also, that progression looks amazing! I’m tempted to take more tests but I haven’t. I stopped after my clear blue said 2-3. I don’t want the stress that I know I’d put on myself.

@Sansa87 progression is looking good! But yes, different pregnancy, different timings. All is looking and sounding good so far though. I know for me continuous testing doesn’t do anything as I start to imagine things which sets me off.

@Redred2429 so sorry to hear that. It sounds like you should just test so you know. If it’s positive go have a scan to check on the little bean. Like us all it’s a different pregnancy this time round. My fingers and toes are crossed for you!

Nottherealslimshady · 30/08/2020 20:20

I keep trying to remember that the highest probability is that this will be a normal healthy pregnancy

Hi everyone! How are you all today? Hope you’re all relaxing and taking it easy x

Nottherealslimshady · 01/09/2020 08:13

I'm doing ok, I'm at the stage where it started going wrong for me last time so a bit anxious but everything seems ok

Smp321 · 01/09/2020 11:02

@Nottherealslimshady same for me between the 5-6 week mark. However I am remaining positive. Different pregnancy and all that!

JeffV · 01/09/2020 12:58

Hi all,

Please can i join in? Got my BFP last week and I'm quite nervous. I had a suspected ectopic in January and chemical in May. Trying to remain positive but every cramp or pain makes me anxious Confused

How are you managing your anxiety and staying positive? Id love some advice x

Sansa87 · 01/09/2020 13:15

My cramps seem to be getting a bit crampier, & I had a bit of brown discharge last night... so I’ve gone into panic mode, but trying to act like I haven’t
