Pregnant, nauseated and out of control on sugar

For my first pregnancy I felt great, i craved things like fizzy water, porridge and crackers and felt very in control and smug. But my god, my second pregnancy is a completely different experience, the only thing that stops me being sick or feeling like death are sugar based snacks and drinks, something I've never really been into Shock. I'm convinced I'm going to give myself diabetes if I carry on or lose my teeth so please can you share some tips that got you through the first trimester if you were only thinking of sugar and couldnt face anything healthy. Also if you did have an entirely sugary filled pregnancy, did it all work out ok, or are you now stuck in a chocolate pipe like Augustus gloop from Charlie and the chocolate factory - because that would probably be my dream scenario right now. (I'll give myself a jammy Dodger whilst I am here Biscuit)

I had terrible nausea in the first trimester and sugar was the only thing that helped. I felt anxious and guilty about it too, but I'm now 17 weeks and much better, and back to (nearly) normal sugar consumption.
