Hi ladies..☺️
I'm 32+1 and the not sleeping at night is taking it's toll now, I can cope with waking up to pee throughout the night but every 10 minutes I'm tossing and turning because laying on my hips constantly is causing a lot of aching/dull pain and keeping me awake at night!

Has anybody had this and is it quite common? I can't remember having this with my first but that was almost 7 years ago 😂

Any tips to help? I've tried a pillow between my knees/legs and I also have a maternity pillow which is.. well I shall say rubbish 🙈

Hey yes i am exactly the same! I have a pregnancy pillow also and i find it rubbish too. I do remember feeling like this with my first (almost 12 years ago 😂) but not until much later on. Im 30+1.. Sorry i have no advice x

@CC12x it's bloody awful isn't it 😂 I get so frustrated through the night and just cry for a decent nights sleep before baby is here 🙈 xx

Im 32+4 and feel your pain, it's AWFUL. Have slept with a pregnancy pillow between my legs and on my left side since bloody week 12 or something and my hips are killing!
I've had a dreadful work week because of the lack of sleep too. Its shit! Sending you solidarity!

So I'm 37+3 massive and pretty much my hips have given up 😂 sleep is something I used to do I think!!
I have found that sleeping virtually propped upright gives a few hours of comfort and feeling of sleeping on my back, also laying on my side I put a pillow under both knees so they are at an angle but still together which has worked too.

Other than that I'm not at the stage I'm begging for a new born to wake me as a pose to my bladder or the need to turn... Just one night full sleep would feel amazing and hubby could do a nights feed 😍

🙋🏻‍♀️ 32 weeks, woke up half an hour ago because of aching hips, now I know it will be at least a couple of hours til I drop off again! Lying here listening to DH sleeping soundly ☹️

34+3 and have been awake since 2:30am. Up for a wee every half hour and tossing and turning because I just can't get comfortable. The pregnancy pillow got flung half way across the room as it it isn't cutting it anymore.

ChlOeWh · 29/08/2020 23:35

So I went out today and bought a mattress topper as my mattress REALLY doesn't help my hips and I can feel every spring now 🙄
Buuuuuut, nope! Isn't helping in the slightest, I also bought a birthing ball but haven't managed to have a go on it yet but I've heard it can really help with hip/back aches and pains! Xx

@ChlOeWh yes can totally relate. I had it bad in my first pregnancy 2 years ago and it's back this time. I didn't struggle until later in my first but I'm only 22 weeks and me and my partner often sleep in separate beds now cause I'm moving so much not getting comfy and it's keeping him up and when it's not keeping him up it is me for worry of waking him from constant tossing and turning!

SqidgeBum · 29/08/2020 23:48

I have just come downstairs after trying to sleep for an hour. I am 30+5, have aches and pains right under my bump, and I have restless leg syndrome. It's my turn to get up with DD (she is 21 months) tomorrow morning while DH 'has a lie in'. I had to come downstairs before I killed him through pure jealousy.

Its misery. I am knackered. It's also only going to get worse. I am sorry I have nothing more useful to say. It seems us women are just destined to suffer while our husbands get 8 hours sleep EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT.

Sairafina · 30/08/2020 00:00

Also 30+5. Sadly I have no advice - just here for the mutual vent!

I've tried getting out of bed if I've been up to wee and it's been more than 20mins without getting back to sleep again. Invested in a rocking chair for the nursery so have been reading my kindle on that, then weeing and trying to get back to sleep again after 30 mins or so
