Hey ladies I went for my anomaly scan the other day and the scanner said baby looks good but because he was in a weird position she couldn't scan everything that she wanted to so she re scanned me this kind of made me worry abit 😟 has any of you ladies has this issue also I have troubles of filling my bladder up as drinking a lot of water in the morning makes me sick but I pray when I go to my next scan he's in a better position

My little one was in an awkward position at my 12 week scan. Having something to drink and walking around for 30 minutes didn't work so we couldn't check everything. I had to do a blood test at 14 weeks and as the results were not very positive I paid for a private harmony test and all was good. A friend of mine said her baby was in an awkward position during one of her scans and she had an espresso and that made the baby change position (and they were able to proceed with the scan). Hope your next scan goes well x

Yes at the anomaly scan with DD. I had to go to for a coffee to get baby moving and come back in an hour. All fine on the second scan. On one of my third trimester growth scans I had to jump around the room part way through as they couldn’t get all the measurements. It doesn’t mean that anything is wrong and I think it’s fairly common so try not to worry.

At my 20 week anomaly scan our boy was scrunched up soo tight so our sonographer couldn't get all the measurements, see his kidneys or the base of his spine. I went for multiple walks, drank cold fizzy drinks, jumped around like crazy, peed lots of times and 2 hours later he had moved a cm but luckily it was just enough for her to finish all the checks. I think because they have to be so thorough it can sometimes take a while or even multiple visits to check everything off but at least you know it's all done properly when everything is finally signed off :) x

I had to go back 4 weeks later for a rescan because mine wouldn't move into the right spot for some of the measurements.

My DS was in such an awkward position at my anomaly scan that they couldn't see his head🤦‍♀️so I went back 2 weeks later and all was fine. They're just little monkeys right from the beginning!

With my son I had 4 x 20 week scans. He was always in the wrong place and refused to move. He’s quite stubborn now!
This pregnancy I had to pee and jump around to get baby in right position for 12 week scan. Also had 2 20 week scans as sonographer didn’t see the heart properly first time around. 37 weeks now with this pregnancy.

I'm 24 weeks and have had three scans so far, and each time my LO does not comply.

In the end, I had to have a blood test for Downs, but couldn't have the other two conditions tested for. Luckily, low risk for Downs.

The only way my LO would move is if I drank a fizzy drink and did star jumps. Might be an idea?

Yep happened in both my pregnancies. With DS he also kept his legs closed during both of his 20wk scans so we couldn't find out he was a he! With DD she just kept her legs together in the first attempt at a 20wk scan, she was much more helpful during the second attempt!
