Hi,
I am six weeks 1 day pregnant after a previous mole pregnancy. I can not shake a feeling that something is wrong. I have no symptoms... nothing apart from maybe peeing more. Just caved (i know its not science and more like torture) and did a digital test. As I suspected the test told me 2/3 weeks pregnant. By now it should in theory say 3+.
Wee was fairly diluted but still I just have a feeling.
Has anyone had a similar situation? I am just so anxious. Any handholds welcome 🙏

Which centre is following you up? I am being followed by Charing Cross and had to have a scan at 6 weeks

Hi @Iheardit thank you for your response. Glad to hear charringcross looking afget you i must admit they were always on hand to talk to when I was under there care. I have been discharged by Charringcros now. In my discharge letter it said to get a scan at 8 weeks at my local hospital. I have no real reason to believe anything is wrong apart from lack of symptoms. However 8 weeks feels a very long way off at this point I just have a sinking feeling I may try contacting my local EPU tomorrow and see what they say. You never know they may take pity on me.

Hi, sorry to hear about your mole. I had one earlier this year and was only just discharged from Charing Cross. I've been in close contact with my hospital who found the mole and they booked me scans at 5 and 7 weeks to track progress. Given your history you would definitely be able to get another scan if you asked. It's so hard not to be really anxious this time around, but the chance of a second mole is extremely low and unless you're bleeding, there's no real reason to think that something isn't right. So hard to say try to relax, but try to focus on the positives for now, and speak to your hospital in the morning if you're worried.

@Nimsay1 thank you, I know... i feel silly for doing the damp digital but all day had a nagging feeling. I have no reason to believe anything is wrong other than the digital test and no symptoms. At this point last time I had started to spot etc.
I may call them in the morning just to see what they say, I was feeling relatively psotive about it all untill this week where I simply don't feel pregnant.
Even with my last pregnancy tho I didnt have lots of symptoms. Glad to hear your being well looked after! I hope all goes well for you ❤

Yes the EPU and midwives I
have been very helpful locally (once I mentioned the molar my scan was booked in before I had seen the midwife team) Although I did have 6 months of high risk chemotherapy and am still on follow up 9 years later.
Also if your wee was diluted this could affect the hcg levels and the weeks on the test, The chances are everything will be fine and when you have symptoms you will think back to all this worry about no symptoms and miss them

Nimsay1 · 27/08/2020 09:30

Did you try taking another test this morning @Leaf87 ?

Leaf87 · 27/08/2020 10:33

@Nimsay1 I decided to wait and do one tomorrow morning first wee and see what that says! I have been reading of lots of people who have found them very inaccurate so feel slightly calmer this morning. Still no symptoms..... but still no reason to believe I am not pregnant either really trying to remain level headed!! 😬😬

Hi we're also 6+2 having miscarried back in January at this same time. Our digital test moved from 1-2 weeks to 2-3 but didn't go to 3+ weeks so we're a bit worried. We're holding off retesting until Monday as only got one test left...

Nimsay1 · 27/08/2020 12:00

@Leaf87 that's very sensible. I'm also really lacking in symptoms this week, apart from a lot of fatigue. But after having hyperemesis gravidarum from the mole, I'm taking this as a good sign. 🤞

Leaf87 · 27/08/2020 13:39

@Nimsay1 glad you haven't suffered with it this time! Even when my HCG was through the roof I still didn't suffer with many symptoms.... its so odd. I mean it took 4 months for me to get to normal level post D&C. Trying to put it to the back of my mind. I keep repeating to myself ' you have no reason to believe anything is wrong' I had started spotting at this point last time.

@Catwoman1985 I have been reading that they are not the most reliable but for some reason really want to see a 3+ not that it means anything reallly. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Not everyone gets symptoms no 2 pregnancies are the same and not everyone gets the 3+ week on a digital test!! Relax and enjoy it OP xx
