7+4 Weeks Pregnant- Is Sex Safe??

Hi ladies, so..
I'm 7+4 Weeks Pregnant according to my private early scan (I thought I was 8 weeks today but she dated me back by 3 days) anyway, everything is fine baby is doing good & I heard the beautiful heartbeat. I'm so in love already!

I asked my Midwife whether it was safe to have sex or not and she said it's absolutely fine and just to note that I may experience a little bit of bleeding after which is apparently common & normal? But I just can't get the feeling of being scared out of my head, I'm scared incase I cause anything to happen or something and it's making me anxious to the point that I want sex with my partner but I'm frightened even though I've been told it's safe but I've also read horror stories of things going wrong after having sex in the early weeks of pregnancy!

Can any of you lovely ladies put my mind at rest please and is it ok/safe to have sex during the early First Trimester?! Thank you X

Yes crack on!! My libido went through the roof which DH and I took amazing advantage of!
Enjoy certain positions whilst you still can, I'm 30 weeks and we only have a few to choose from now 😂

I'd also try as much as possible not to look things up on the internet. Of course you're bound to come across horror stories but you could find those with looking up people's experiences of crossing a road if they knew of someone who had been hit by a car.

Stick to the NHS website and asking medical professionals.

And yes, I realise the irony of writing this on MN!

I'm exactly the same lol which me and my partner are dying to take advantage of too aha I was just feeling really anxious with being a FTM & with the Midwife saying I could possibly bleed afterwards I thought I daren't risk it incase anything was to happen god forbid! But yeah exactly like you say it's best to take advice from the professionals.. You can't help but come across some of the horror stories sometimes which I wish I never read aha but thankyou that's great I can't wait now 😂x
