Subchorionic hematoma

Hi, I'm new here as I'm only 6weeks and 6 days. I had private scan at the weekend as I had been having twinges on my left hand side and was worried about an ectopic pregnancy. It turns out that the pregnancy is viable, but I have a subchorionic haematoma, 20 x 7mm. I'm waiting for a follow up call with my GP today, but terrified about what this means. I'm more aware now of the left hand side twinges and I'm concerned that means it's getting worse. I've had no bleeding yet but at the scan they said it could happen (didn't say when). I just feel a bit lost as I have no sense of the gravity of the haematoma, the time scale in which it might heal, whether the 'twinges' are related and a sign it's getting worse, or how how risk my pregnancy is now, or if I should be doing bed rest. Any shared insight would be useful.
Thanks

@Lozz22 that's ridiculous! That's YOUR story

chloxhunt · 05/10/2020 15:22

@Lozz22 you were only advising someone because of what your outcome was what's the problem with that????

Lozz22 · 05/10/2020 15:23

@chloxhunt precisely and as I said had someone advised me to go to hospital after my minor bump because they'd lost their Baby in similar circumstances I'd have been bloody grateful not told them they were harsh.
@wasthataburp were you allowed to bath when you had it?
Yes I can't remember not being allowed to bath. To be honest I tried everything to stop it, bed rest etc and nothing worked.
