Itchy c-section scar in 2nd pregnancy?

My c-section scar is completely healed and hasn’t bothered me since DC1 was about 8 weeks old.
However I am now 15+3 with DC2 and dear God! The itching!! It started as a random itch about a week ago but now I’m constantly feeling the need to scratch it
Is this normal?
How can I stop it??

I have had 3 sections and I would say this is normal. My last section was 15 years ago and I still get 'the itch'. If You are concerned though speak to your midwife :)

I had this and ended up going to the GP who said it was normal and nothing to worry about. It did stop at a certain point as I don’t remember it doing it throughout

Phew! Good to know it’s normal and I’m not going bonkers.
Also good to know it should stop at some point because it’s not the best look I’ve ever had - hand in pants scratching
Thanks for replying.

It is probably due to your body stretching for the new baby, or it could just be down to the heat. I have always just used moisturiser on my scar, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
I know that isn't much help but if you are concerned please speak to your midwife.
