Bleeding and cramps before D&C

Hi there, I’m not sure if this is the right section to post this but I’m hoping someone can help.

I found out a days ago that I’d had a MCC. I should have been just 10 weeks but baby has died around 6 weeks.

I’m booked in for bloods on Tuesday and D&C on Thursday, however I have just started bleeding and have quite intense cramps - paracetamol is not helping. The bleeding is not heavy but when I sat on the loo about an hour ago it sort of came pouring out for 2/3 seconds. I’ve checked the pad again and there isn’t a large amount of blood.

Not sure what to do.

Do you have any more powerful pain relief? Take anything that isn't paracetamol based that you have.
If that doesn't help, or you are worried about the bleeding, call OOH or 999 depending on what's going on.

OH has gone out to see if he can find something stronger. Fingers crossed as I don’t think I’ll get any sleep tonight if he doesn’t.

Hi OP I'm sorry for your loss. It sounds as though your body is saving you the trouble of a D&C. The cramping can be quite uncomfortable and painful. Take Ibuprofen as it is more effective for this type of pain. Good luck my dear.
