12 week scan, nucal translucency, cvs

Hi I’m 13 week pregnant, got my scan done , the nucal translucency is 3.2 mm, combined with age and blood test doctors informed me my child will have 1:10 risk of down. Now I opted for cvs which is next week. I can’t stop crying 😢

This happened to me and I am sorry you are having to go through it tik it is a very stressful time .

Pop over to the ante - natal rests board. Loads of stories to reassure you.

I had 3.8 NT with a chance of 1:3.

Had CVS which by the way is no where near as bad as I thought it would be. Honestly wasn't even painful for me.

Luckily all came back clear and full karyotype also clear. Has to have w heart scan at 16 weeks - all fine and NT back to normal and then 20 week scan was perfect and all has been fine ever since!
