I’m looking for book recommendations that will teach me all the basics! I realise there’s no real ‘manual’ but I’m so clueless it petrifies me. I only recently learned that the baby has to sleep in the same room as you for six months! Both me and my OH are first timers and clueless 😂

Emily Oster 'expecting better' is fab. She's also been on a few podcasts which are good.

Thank you! Is that for while you’re pregnant? I’m looking for books that will help when baby arrives too

Totally second ‘Expecting Better’, it’s brilliant.

I really like ‘French Children Don’t Throw Food’ too. That’s for once the baby is born!

I thought First Time Parent was good for the basics.

Have just started reading Pregnancy, Birth and Beyond. Wish I read this one from the start!

I really enjoyed Holly Willoughbys book, can't remember the name. I referred to it often in my baby's first year!
