Two week wait

Anyone else on their two week wait?? I’m so impatient. Though I’m not sure how much of a chance we have this month. I ovulated really early this month for me, I regularly ovulate around day 19/20 but this cycle indicates I ovulated day 16. Did the deed two days before ovulation and I track my bbt and had a rise this morning. Just nervous as we had a chemical loss in June and we didn’t try in July so just would like these two weeks to go very quickly!

You never know @Mugcake until AF is here there’s still a little hope. With my first, I ovulated on cycle day 27! Test then took 12 days after that to show up positive. Although I have shorter cycles now. @planningforlife if AF not due til next week try hold out 😩 I know it’s impossible. But unless it’s been 12+ days after you ovulated chances are you’ll get a bfn. Depends what test you’ve got too, some are more sensitive than others.

@Sarahck how are you getting on? Did you wait until today to test?

@Em2210 no, not yet, I'm trying to hold out until the end of the week. I want to be as sure as I can be that it'll be accurate, but I'm also psyching myself up for a negative. I got AF last week, but only for a day and a half (very strange for me!) so it probably was just PMT/PMS, although not the usual PMT that I get. I'll do one anyway just to be sure, but I'm living for you guys now and have my fingers crossed for you all 🐣😁.

Do you normally have very short periods? Are you sure it wasn’t an implantation bleed? Strange that it was only for a day and a half, which makes me think that it could be?? I’m still quite a few days away from testing really. But I have picked up three tests today so it’s doubtful I’ll be able to hold off until next week now I’ve got them in the house 🤣 and I buy really cheap ones so it doesn’t break the bank lol

I ended up testing again today and got a very faint line but it was after leaving it for a good 5 minutes so not sure how accurate

@planningforlife ahhh exciting!! Was that this morning? Or later today? Maybe do one in the morning or the following? And you should get a stronger line! 🤞🏻 What test did you use? When’s AF due?

Morning ladies, so as you know I bought some tests yesterday. I buy the clear and simple ones as they have a 10miu sensitivity and they are £1 in the shop near me. So I don’t have any guilt over using them in excess when I know chances are I’m gonna get a BFN. I’m only 8 dpo but I couldn’t resist testing but I’m sure I can see a shadow 🤣 I’m gonna wait two days before I test again though. And a little cautious as last time I had a positive I got AF the next day. So won’t be getting my hopes up too soon

Thinking about it, it’s probably just an evap line. I just need to be patient 😩

@Em2210 Haha i don't blame you for testing! I need to track down some cheapies too! Fingers crossed if you can wait for a few days you get a confirmed BFP!

I took a 2nd test today but still BFN and still no AF 🙈 doctor told me its not a big deal?? But to keep testing? So confused!

@Em2210 , I am not due until Saturday and the test was Sainsbury's own brand .

Ofcourse I have now been googling and it says they can be inaccurate.....

@planningforlife I think all tests have had inaccuracies at some point! Do you know how much hcg is needed for sainsburys tests? I’m due AF Monday so assuming you are 2 days ahead of me you’d be roughly 10dpo? Unless you know when you ovulated? so it might not show just yet! Test again in 2 days 🤞🏻 Plus if you looked at the test when there was a faint line a long time after the results are meant to show, it might just be an evaporation line (like mine most likely are 🤣)

Oh that's exciting! Definitely test again in 2 days, and again after that...just to be sure, 🤞. I haven't done one yet, putting it off because I don't want to be disappointed! But I need to know because I think I have a UTI ugh, and need to know for sure so I can take antibiotics.

@Sarahck I’m down a bit of a rabbit hole now with testing 🤣 Can’t help myself. This was at 5am this morning as woke up and needed to go. Lighting is crap though. Still incredibly faint and not sure if just evap lines or what. I admire your will power to hold off! I’m useless 🤣

@Mugcake argh how annoying! Although if AF isn’t properly here yet, you’re still in with a chance if you’re ovulating. That’s the only thing I’d be thinking.

@Em2210 I finally did the test, it's a no this time. But really got my fingers crossed for you and everyone else waiting, best of luck. I'm back to the start now!

OP I definitely think that's a positive!! That's what mine looked like to begin with as I was super impatient lol but I really think that looks like an early positive!! Fingers crossed for you! 🤞🏻 X

Thank you @Mich2020 & @HollieL567 I hope so. Although an quite cautious about getting my hopes up until I’m passed my AF due date.

This is a cheap Sainsbury's own brand test and still have until 6 till AF is due but here is to hoping
