Hi talk, I am 6wks and 2 days pregnant today, but I am a bit worried as I have no signs of any morning sickness yet. Just wondering if most of the ladies out there got morning sickness and when it started? Xx

I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant and haven't had any morning sickness. I know it's easy to worry as you just want signs that you are pregnant (I felt it too!) but try not to read too much into it.

fancyfrogs · 18/08/2020 10:12

Never had any 😊 migraines, fatigue and shortness of breath from about 6/7 weeks until 12ish weeks x

JemimaTiggywinkle · 18/08/2020 10:18

I’m 7+3 and I started feeling sick last week. Not actually being sick, just feeling nauseated all the time, worse on an empty stomach. And then as soon as I eat I’m really bloated and gassy.

It seems to fluctuate though.. not too bad today.

MobLife · 18/08/2020 10:26

Never did with dc1-felt completely normal and if it wasn't for a positive test and scans I would have had no clue I was pregnant

Dc2 however.....from about half an hour before i took the test 5 days before my period was due 😆 it finally stopped at around 14 weeks

rottiemum88 · 18/08/2020 10:30

Around 6 weeks I think, then lasted until around 22 weeks and came back a bit from 38-41 weeks. Not everyone gets it though, I wouldn't worry at this stage if you haven't Smile

Pipandmum · 18/08/2020 10:33

Ha you may be lucky! I had mild nausea throughout. Pregnancy varies from woman to woman obviously. I wouldn't take it as cause for concern.

peachypetite · 18/08/2020 10:35

Honestly enjoy not feeling sick. It’s an awful feeling and can be pretty debilitating! Mine kicked in about six weeks. You may also not be as far along as you think too.

Footlooseandfancy · 18/08/2020 10:39

DC1 - 5 weeks. Sick daily until 13 weeks.
DC2 - 7 weeks, felt better by week 10, only sick twice.

Ginfilledcats · 18/08/2020 10:42

5 weeks. In hospital with dehydration from HG at 6 weeks. Lasted til 18 weeks

BertiesLanding · 18/08/2020 10:50

End of week 6 going into week 7. Just when I thought I'd escaped it!

BertiesLanding · 18/08/2020 10:51

I didn't vomit, but I felt perpetually nauseous, and so tired that I could barely walk a block without needing to rest. I spent most afternoons on the sofa. After week 12 it started improving, and by mid-second-trimester, I was full of energy (which started to wane at about week 36 again).

MooseyGoose90 · 18/08/2020 11:05

I am currently 8 weeks, sickness for 3 weeks now. Only occasionally sick but the nausea is beyond what I imagined. I am trying to keep a brave face at work but I can’t focus, being sick is all I can think about. The fatigue and exhaustion I expected but this nausea is knocking me for six.

I have actually just come on here to start a thread about how to deal with nausea 24/7

CoalCraft · 18/08/2020 11:18

Never! 19 weeks now and have had virtually no sickness symptoms whatsoever. About a third of women experience no nausea or vomiting at all and it doesn't say anything positive or negative skirt the health of the pregnancy. I worried too at first but a Dr assured me it was normal and "just means I tolerate pregnancy well" (her words).

Chicken123 · 18/08/2020 11:42

I had severe nausea before I even got a positive test. That’s how I knew I must be pregnant. I’ve had it on and off since 3wks+4 x

Darcy86 · 18/08/2020 12:18

I am 13+4 and I've not had any sickness at all, I had some mild nausea very early on but that was essentially gone by about week 8. I've had the tiredness, slightly tender boobs, and then bloating (especially when I eat) but otherwise, touch wood, it's all been quite smooth so far - fingers crossed that it continues...!

LouJ85 · 18/08/2020 12:19

I had very little to no nausea at all with my first pregnancy (DD is now 14). Currently 5 weeks pregnant with my 2nd and nauseous quite a lot through the night and mornings. Not sure if age is a factor - I was 21 with my first and I'm 35 now. It's manageable nausea though - just about. Using cyclizine and lots of bed rest to get me through.

Frazzlerock · 18/08/2020 12:46

Never really had it in 7 pregnancies. Felt a bit queasy with my 3rd pregnancy (and we lost that baby). Otherwise nothing.

PawPatrolMakesMeDrink · 18/08/2020 12:50

I never got morning sickness. I just got huge burps when I laid down at night time.

RiteAid · 18/08/2020 14:11

About 8 weeks, but it was never bad. Had some nausea and some aversions to smells, but I was generally fine. Some people never have morning sickness at all!

Peach1204 · 18/08/2020 14:13

I'm 12+6 and haven't been sick. I have felt a bit nauseous in the morning a couple of times but ate a rich tea and was fine. Mine is more tiredness that I'm feeling.

firstimemamma · 18/08/2020 14:19

I remember being in your shoes op, worrying etc.

A lucky 20% of pregnant women never get any form of sickness at all so please try not to let your lack of sickness worry you. I never experienced any & I've got a healthy, happy 2 year old.

I'm not trying to sound smug as I know some ladies have really hard experiences, just trying to offer reassurance. Smile

whatswithtodaytoday · 18/08/2020 14:20

Started at seven weeks, went (mostly) at 20 weeks. It was very unpleasant. However, I know loads of women who barely had it so I wouldn't worry too much.

FluffyKittensinabasket · 18/08/2020 14:20

Since week 3.

fabulous01 · 18/08/2020 22:33

I have twins
And I never had morning sickness.

speakout · 18/08/2020 22:37

Never.

Not one day of sickness. Two healthy pregnancies and two healthy babies.
