Had 1 chemical pregnancy and scared of a second

I had a chemical pregnancy last month at 5 weeks. I have fallen pregnant again I think I am 4 weeks but have had pain again.
I went to the hospital and got my bloods and my levels were hcg 21 and progesterone 20.
Does anyone know if this is far to low?
I don’t really know what levels are normal but I am really worried 😟

Normal hcg levels can vary hugely, so 21 could still be completely normal at 4 or 5 weeks, you’d really need to know if the level was doubling over a few days. I had a chemical too around 4 weeks and then went on to have a successful pregnancy a few months later. Completely understand the worry but fingers crossed all will be well, is the pain bad? I always had period type pains in all 3 of my pregnancies. Have you got repeat blood tests booked?

I have another blood test tomorrow my previous one was Sunday and I am just so nervous 😥
It’s quite sharp pains rather than aches? But as you said you had pains so I am keeping everything crossed possible!

Are they sharp pains when getting up? I've been getting them if I move too quickly. Third pregnancy, currently 6+5.. fingers crossed all fine xx and for you OP

Just to keep you updated, I had my bloods taken again today and my hcg level only increased from 21 to 23. Therefore they have told me that i will most likely miscarriage again.

:( I have no words, but should probably give myself a break mentally now! clearly something wrong.
