Any Midwives Around?- Overdue with thrush

I am 40+5 and have just noticed some thrush after a few days of soreness. Bit worried about going into labour with thrush given how sore my bits are Blush

I've got a spare Canesten cream combi pack (internal and external creams) but am unsure if they're safe to use at this stage?

I don't have any garlic or yoghurt in at the moment, otherwise I would have tried that!

Poor you! If your waters haven’t broken then yes, go ahead and use the canesten. Would suggest you put the pessary in without using the applicator. Remember that your partner needs to be treated with the cream too if you have had sex recently.
Hope you feel more comfy very soon & that baby doesn’t keep you waiting too much longer!

also try and get some kefir from supermarket to drink to help deal with the yeast

Thank you very much! Am relieved to hear it. Waters haven't gone yet.

I will add another Canesten pack to our shop for DH, and a big bottle of kefir too.

Thank you
