Is this 'the show' what should I do? (TMI pic)

Hi,

Over the past few days I've noticed a bit more discharge than usual and tonight there is what looks like blood in it. I'm currently 36+6 and am not sure what to do now. I had some cramps at the top of my tummy yesterday but they only lasted an hour.

I was wondering if anyone has had anything similar and what happened?

Really? Does that mean labour will happen soon? Finding different things online. Thanks for your reply x

Hi @Harri87 certainly does look like the show ! But that can come out days to even weeks before labour starts but I would definitely ring your midwife to inform them just with you saying your only 36.6 which is classed pre term . I had my show I believe a week before labour started but labour is definitely just around the corner for you! X

It looks like a very small bit of the plug, for me there was a lot more than that and big chunks. So most likely this will be happening for a while given the stage you’re at, but almost at term so I guess it could be the start of things! Both times my labour started soon after show but I know that’s not the case for all.

I'm feeling alright this morning, quite productive which is suprising as I didn't sleep much last night. Quite curious as to whats going to happen though and last night made me think that I'm not prepared enough!
