Baby movements at 24 weeks

Hi

So I am 24 weeks today and probably only really started to feel movement around last Thursday.

Just wondering if I should be feeling movement all the time or at regular points?

At the moment it seems all over the place - on Sunday I didn't feel much until the afternoon evening yesterday there seemed a lot going on in the morning and then in the evening. So far today there's been a couple of times but not lots.

Is this normal at this stage?

Thanks

I'm 24 weeks and I tend to feel him some point in morning, some point in afternoon and then evening time but only for a very short amount of time. I think at this stage it is perfectly normal as some people just start to feel them now

@Piggle21 hey when I was around 24 weeks I definitely felt movement every day but there wasn't much pattern to it, other than always when I woke up and then it was just a few points during the day I'd get some kicks and then baby would go quiet again.
Although i did nearly call up because one day around 23/24 weeks I didnt feel anything until late afternoon.
When I saw my midwife at 26 weeks she said I should have called to be checked... and she just said if something doesn't seem right then call up. So just go by how you're feeling, if you're not happy with the amount you feel baby one day, call up to be monitored.
Im 28 weeks now and feel ALOT more movement than a few weeks ago, kicks are a lot stronger and I feel and see baby wiggling about a lot more.
Hope this helps!

Thanks everyone. I phoned triage and went in. Midwife was lovely and said at this point they wouldn't expect a proper pattern in movement that's usually around 27-28 weeks. She listened to the heart beat for me.

Being pregnant is so stressful I thought by this point I might start enjoying it but it's still full of anxiety!
