Three days ago I had a pretty bit blob of what I believe to be part of my mucus plug. It wasn’t as big as I’d expect for the whole thing, but I’m pretty sure it was part of it because it was like gelatinous snot and it was pale yellow in colour, no blood was there. Today (38+4) I’ve gone to the toilet and when I wiped there was more extremely thick clear/yellowish discharge that looked like snot, but it wasn’t as jelly like?

I usually have creamy white discharge so I don’t think it’s just normal discharge because of the colour. And I don’t think it’s an infection because I have no symptoms of that. I’m just wondering for those who lost their plugs bit by bit, was it always big globs of it? Or did it sometimes resemble extremely thick discharge instead?

This is the first time in those three days I’ve seen it again, so I highly doubt it’s an infection since it isn’t a consistent thing. I’m just really confused and don’t know what to think of it

Hi @geemeister, I am wondering the same thing! I'm 38+3 and had a similar experience yesterday, thick snotty egg white looking stuff- a bit like someone with a bad cold had sneezed in my knickers! Like you, there was no blood and I didn't think it was enough to be the whole plug but nothing else has happened yet. It was noticeably different to the discharge I've been having. I actually felt it come out then went to the toilet to check. My googling tells me that some women do lose it in stages but I'm a FTM so I'm just questioning everything!
