2nd day of bleeding - 10 weeks

Hi all,

Not sure what I'm hoping to gain by posting, maybe I just want to get it out there.

I was 10 weeks exactly yesterday. Yesterday morning I also started bleeding. Tiny bits of brown first, but in the afternoon i needed a pad. It is now proper blood, and I feel exactly as if I was having a period, albeit a light one. I have spoken to 111 and the OOH doctor, but my EPU is closed on weekends, so I can't get a scan until hopefully tomorrow, or whenever they can fit me in.

I hate that I have to wait to find out if my baby is ok or not.

Does anyone have any positive stories? I'm thinking my chances of all being well are probably 50 50?

Are you in any pain? Cramping? I had a couple of days lightish bleeding at around 11 weeks and everything was ok, they said it does happen sometimes. I pray your outcome will be the same as mine x

Thank you so much Madaana! Sorry I forgot to say, I don't have any bad pains at all. I have some mild cramping as I would have with a period and some mild back pain, on and off. I just hope it doesn't get worse! So glad all ok for you! X

I'm so sorry you're going through this OP, it's so scary. With DS I had this twice, once at 6 weeks and then a big bleed at 23 weeks but he was fine. I really hope everything's ok. Sending lots of hugs.

Thank you so much shreddednipps! I really appreciate it and I'm so glad you were ok after 2 bleeds, that must have been so scary! On a side note, your username made me smile. I've certainly felt like my nips were being shredded by my son many times .

Unfortunately my bleeding is getting worse rather than better, it's like a proper period now, with some fairly big clots. I'm trying to stay positive. Just hope they can fit me in tomorrow.

Hi. I had one day of bright red bleeding one day followed by a week of pink spotting at 12 weeks. All is ok now at 16+ 4 weeks. I still don't know why it happened.

Hoping things are ok for you, to give some positivity i bled nearly every day between 5 and 11 weeks and am now in the third trimester

Just for an update. Unfortunately I did miscarry Sunday night. I feel surprisingly ok most of the time, with periods of being really upset of course. In time we'll try again, and hopefully will be luckier next time. Thanks to everyone who replied or thought of me, and all the best for your pregnancies xx
