Just found out I’m pregnant! When to work out rough due date?

Me and my partner started TTC in July. I stopped taking the pill on 24th June. My withdrawal bleed was 11-15th July with a light flow, and my first proper period was due tomorrow! Been having symptoms such as really bad gas, one odd day of sickness, extreme bloating and bad moods. I had a feeling this morning that I should do a test, first one was very faint but I could see a line! Went and bought a pack of 3 early detection clear blue tests and 2 of them have both come back positive, much clearer than the first one I did! Still can’t believe how quickly this has happened even though we only started TTC in July! I’ll attach some photos of the tests!
My question is how can I work out my due date if I’ve not had a proper period since coming off the pill? Can I work it out from the first day of my withdrawal bleed?

Your dating scan will give you a more accurate due date. It’s not an exact science, but based on your tests I’d say you’re around 12-14 days past ovulation so you’d be 4 weeks pregnant (it’s dated from your “last period” which is usually 2 weeks before ovulation).

Congratulations! Your expected due date according to an online calculator is April 11th 2021. Is this your first? x

For now, go by your LMP (last menstrual period) which is 11th July, even though it was a withdrawal bleed. This happened to me with DC1. You'll get an accurate date at your 12 week dating scan. Mine was moved a week later. So according to the NHS due date calculator, you're due 17th April 2021.

Thank you! This is what I assumed, makes sense Smile

Thanks everyone! This will be my first!
