So I'm terrified of giving birth and trying to think of ways I could relax to reduce anxiety/fear and increase oxytocin :(
I thought back rubs with a nice smelling oil like lavender would be soothing - I have a homemade pouch of dried lavender from the garden by my bed which I love the smell of and helps when I'm anxious..
Can anyone recommend suitable massage oils? Ideally want to use it before labour too, so I can associate it with home and calmness.
I'm also wondering whether it's just better to make my own with an almond oil base and a few drops of lavender essential oil
