35 weeks and my body has given up!

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and (like all of us) have been suffering in the heat! That aside, in the last week I feel like my body can hardly move anymore, it's a struggle just to get off a chair and I have 0% comfort. I do feel like how on earth is this meant to go on for (potentially) another 7 weeks?! And get worse!

Is anyone else feeling this way? Has anyone else felt this way and ended up giving birth around 38 weeks?

I know how you feel - I'm almost 38 weeks and have said multiple times today that I feel like I'm about to die 😂 my feet are constantly swollen and I can't move without sighing or grunting anymore and bedtime is just a nightmare especially with the heat

On top of that it's so frustrating not knowing how long we've got left so you have my sympathy!

Gosh, being pregnant in the heat is truly rubbish
Someone once told me that late pregnancy is nature's way of making labour seem attractive, and I think they were probably onto something

Feel exactly the same! So can defo sympathise with you OP, I'm 35 weeks with baby no 3 and tell my husband daily that I cannot see my body lasting 5/7 weeks more. No shoes fit my feet, even flip flops dig in, I'm never comfy, back ache is a killer, and I never knew I could get heartburn 24/7 even by drinking purely water and eating the most boring plain food 😂

I feel your pain OP! Back pain, hip pain when trying to sleep, despite my pregnancy pillow! Swollen feet and carpal tunnel syndrome now too! And of course..... heartburn! 😫😫😫
I think I said in previous thread I've had enough this week and I've still got 7 weeks left! 😭
Truly hoping I finish for maternity beginning of September and then he makes an appearance shortly after! I really don't want another 7 weeks of this shit! I'm so done! 😫

32 weeks here. Feel like a beached whale. Currently hate wearing anything as so bloody hot. I just got DH to chuck a couple of wet muslins on me whilst I got comfy in front of the fan. Feel a bit better but still irrationally cranky about it all.

Oh my gosh I could have written this thread! 35 weeks here too. So exhausted now yet sleep is impossible to come by! Baby has no respect for my bladder or my ribs (somehow at the same time!) and I am very hopeful that the little bean doesn't go beyond their estimated day of eviction!

36 weeks and I don't know how I will manage another 4 or 5! My SPD/PGP is horrendous, getting off the sofa/up from a chair/out of bed is near impossible without help and I've never been so hot in my life. If I go to 42 weeks I think I'll go insane. As a PP said, roll on September!
