Hi!

Congratulations! I’m 6 weeks today (I think) just starting to feel a bit nauseous which I didn’t have with my other two pregnancies so I’m feeling very sorry for myself!

Is this your first?

Rosbow · 08/08/2020 13:45

Yes my first. It was a surprise I was pregnant, but a nice one. Im just paranoid about any problems and just want to get to the 12 week mark. Keep checking to see if any blood everyday Confused. I think though it normal to feel like that. No nausea yet. Feeling ok actually . Bit tired but that's it

I'm 5 weeks today too and it's my first time being pregnant!
I had some cramping when my period was due for a few days but no symptoms at all now. Feels strange being pregnant but not feeling pregnant. Like you I keep checking for blood and am also googling miscarriage rates and looking at private scans to reassure me and so my partner can come.

Even though this is my third and with my first two I barely got any symptoms, I still do the same and check for blood all the time. I had very sore boobs with my previous pregnancies and this time I haven’t. I’ve just lost my appetite and started feeling sick over the last few days, though that may not even be pregnancy related as I’ve been majorly stressed about moving house. Hopefully the next 6/7 weeks goes quickly so we can have our 12 week scans!

Sophierella24 · 08/08/2020 14:28

Hi everyone,

I have been for an early scan today and found out I am 5+6 with an estimated due date of 4th april. Earlier than I thought but just delighted I wasnt dreaming it - we even seen the heartbeat!

My morning sickness started last week and I feel awful! Congrats to you all xx

Hello! I'm 5/6 weeks with my SURPRISE 3rd. Finally over the initial shock and starting to feel excited & grateful! Feeling waves of queasiness and very tired come the evening.
Would be lovely to keep in touch- congratulations everyone!

I’m 5weeks today as well! My third, and a bit of a mix between the last 2 times when it comes to symptoms. Niggly headache most days, heavy boobs, constipation and a few cramps. Some food smells are making me feel sick and i can’t stop peeing! Slightly concerned twins, but don’t we all lol

Is this people’s first or not?
Anyone working and nervous about being in work?

Sophierella24 · 09/08/2020 09:34

Hi @katieFH, this is my first. I just started a new job on wednesday, I'm more nervous goimg to work as the morning sickness has started and struggling to hide it! How are you? X

KatieFH · 09/08/2020 09:41

@Sophierella24 Awh congrats on both pregnancy and new job! Is it an office job? Oh no have you got sickness bad? That’s my worry too trying to hide it I’m very bad at lying also!
When are you going to tell your employer? Government advice suggests ASAP due to corona and extra risk assessments that need doing but it seems so early! Xx

Sophierella24 · 09/08/2020 09:50

@katieFH thank you, congrats too! Yeah it's an office job, the last week or so has been pretty rubbish...iv also collapsed so pretty stressed it happens at work! I'm also worried about telling them as it's so early but as iv only just starter it's a tricky one. Xx

KatieFH · 09/08/2020 10:04

@Sophierella24 oh no really! From low blood sugar? Have you spoken to the doctor/midwife about it?
Maybe tell your employer and tell them what’s happened and things, they may suggest working from home! Got to be safe and think about yourself first xxx

Sophierella24 · 09/08/2020 10:27

@katieFH I have spoken to both and my GP said it sounds quite 'normal' 🤷🏼‍♀️ going to keep an eye on it though! When do you plan on informing work? X

Mel1091 · 09/08/2020 10:28

I think I'm about 6/7 weeks but my pill failed so I have no idea 🙈. This will be my 2nd my first is 6 months old

Buns05 · 09/08/2020 10:32

Hi, I'm about 6 weeks with my first. Still doesn't feel real!! Keep feeling nauseous, soo tired and my boobs are sore! Need to figure out when to tell work - I'm a teacher so currently it's the summer holidays but feel like I need to tell them before we go back in September even though it will still be early!
