Newborn and 0-3 sleepsuits

Hi all

Just trying to sort out getting baby clothes (FTM) and it's honestly mind blowing! How many of each size (newborn and 0-3) sleepsuits have people got?

I've currently got 5 newborn and and 8 0-3. Do you think that's enough? It would be good to know what others have brought

Thanks!

If you have a drier and a non puky baby, it's enough. Otherwise get more.

The newborn ones were never used here really, I couldn't find any small enough (not UK). 0-3 were too big but fine.

Plenty.

If baby runs out if newborn, just put them I. 0-3

I had a sicky baby so we were going through 4 outfits a day but as others said you might not have one. I bought one set of up to a month and one set of 0-3 initially. In the end I just bought more 0-3 as although they were massive on him, he grew out of the newborn stuff by 3 weeks old despite being born at 36 weeks. I would think that you have enough for the first couple of days and you can usually pick extra up in a supermarket pretty easily if your LO is sicky or on the smaller side.

I was a bit clueless first time round and thought newborn would be fine so had loads of them and 0-3 and then when DD arrived even though over 7lbs some brands came up massive so I had to by "small baby" ie smaller than newborn 🤷‍♀️ I found Sainsbury come up huge and Mamas and Papas even more so, Boots and Next were a bit more true to size

I went a bit mad and bought too many and I haven't even had my shower yet! 🤪
I'd just say get what you want OP! 👍🏻

I bought loads of up to 1month (10lbs) from next but baby was only 6lb 9oz so they buried her. I had to buy first size instead. We have loads in each size.

I had 16 and it was pretty much the right number both times round considering that two are in the changing bag at all times.
Bear in mind that was all they wore, though. They are only ever awake for an hour so I wouldn’t have known when to get them dressed in anything else.

That seems enough. I kept washing daily :/
