Limited pregnancy symptoms - 8/9 weeks

Hi, I'm a mum of one and this is my fourth pregnancy. I miscarried in January.

I'm now 8 to 9 weeks pregnant, and been having fluctuating levels of symptoms (very mild - almost unnoticeable - nausea and breast tenderness), with completely normal bowel movements.

Lucky me, you might think. But I'm convinced there's something wrong. This is completely unlike my other pregnancies, and I'm aware that bowel movements are normally sluggish at first as the baby/foetus takes nutrients out.

Some days my nausea is slightly more prominent, but I'm pretty much normal now aside from the odd burp.

Has anyone got any advice?!

I'm 7 weeks and pretty much the same, it's hard not to worry as all you hear about it how awful pregnancy systems are and you kind of prepare yourself to be ill for 12 weeks. I've had tender boobs but only when I stand up, otherwise I wouldn't notice either. No sickness, no food aversions, honestly don't feel pregnant but it's still pretty early. Fingers crossed we're just the lucky ones! x

Thanks, I hope so too! I've just read that it should take hold by 8/9 weeks, and it just reminds me of how I felt when I miscarried (ie reduction in nausea etc). But yes, fingers crossed its all positive! X

I could have written this post myself, according to my dates I’m 8+5 however when I went to my private scan almost 2 weeks ago, they measured me behind. I’ve had minimal symptoms and have been able to get on with daily life without any problems.

To ease my mind I’ve booked in for another scan next week. Have you thought about doing the same?

I know plenty of women who have had ‘easy’ pregnancies, so it’s not necessary something to worry about!
