I've been looking at baby monitors for our baby due in November, I've looked at the Motorola, BT, Angelcare ones but everyone I've looked at has really bad reviews and I don't know what to do, I liked the Motorola Halo but the price puts me off, has anyone got any recommendations for me?

We’ve just bought this one which is half price on amazon: Motorola MBP846CONNECT Video Baby Monitor with 4.3" Handheld Parent Unit and Wi-Fi Hubble Connected App for Smartphones & Tablets www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07VL4624K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_EH8kFbF5WRY7F?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

Our baby isn’t here yet but we’ve tested it out and it looks great.

We've had a BT3000 for DD1 and it's great - no real bells and whistles but good image and sound quality, light not too bright, easy to set up, it's been on holiday with us and my techno phone mum can use it!

*technophobe not techno phone!

We have always used angel care with the sensory pad, id never sleep without them. Get a couple of false alarms, usually when she squashes up at the top of the crib, but id rather that than none at all

We have the Google Nest camera. It's great cause we can both watch her from our phones, anywhere in the world. Husband loved it cause he could watch her when he was at work. I love it bc I can turn the notifications on vibrate when going to bed
